For over ten years, Merilane Editing has been helping authors to reach their dream of finishing their manuscripts to a publishable standard by providing considerable editorial support, from manuscript assessments to writer coaching, development & substantive editing to structural editing, and copyediting to prepress proofreading. 

Many of our authors have gone on to have their books accepted for publication or have independently published, launched, sold, and shared their books with readers; some authors have even won awards. Many have found a place in the writing community and discovered a stronger sense of self as an author, going on to write a second and third book. 

It has been an incredible privilege to play an integral role in the journey of our authors. As we continue to serve them, we are heading into a very exciting development. Many authors have asked if Merilane Editing provides publishing services; consequently, we are thrilled to announce we will soon offer a bespoke publishing service: Merilane Buonarroti Press. 

We are thrilled at this new venture and are currently in the throes of establishing and creating a pipeline where authors can access a variety of publishing services within a flourishing writing community. Merilane Buonarroti Press aims to be a writing community dedicated to authors who want to retain their artistic integrity while making beautiful books!
